Every time in Obertraun we stay in this hotel. The location was quiet and the bed comfortable. Owner was friendly. We had a sunny balcony.

The safe location was exceptionally nice and excellent, with a little market and another market nearby, just a few minutes walk from a train station, which was a plus.

As a single traveler, I saved a lot by staying at this hotel and still got a private room. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, patiently answering all my questions. The location was a bit far from the main sights, but the bike rental was totally worth it. The hotel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with beautiful views and is close to the lake. The owner always had a smile on her face and went out of her way to accommodate my last-minute request to store my luggage before my excursion.

The rooms at Haus Alpenrose are simply furnished but cozy, with a seating area and satellite TV. I stayed in a room with a balcony, and the scenic mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. Some rooms offer mountain views and free Wi-Fi, which was a great bonus.

Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom instead of a shared one.

The woman who ran the hotel was so lovely and nice! I felt so welcomed. The rooms were lovely with balconies looking out over the village and to the mountains. The place was tidy and clean and there was use of the communal kitchenette. Although the village is a bit isolated, it is in a beautiful location and just a short walk from a beautiful lake. I had a great stay at Haus Alpenrose and would definitely recommend it.

We loved our stay here! It was so convenient as it's right beside the station, making transportation easy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The location to the mountains was also a huge plus, with beautiful scenery visible from our room. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Spotlessly clean, great hospitality, quiet location but central to Obertraun. Good breakfast selection, fridge use possible. Perfect base for outdoor sports.
